The Allegany County Fairgrounds offers a 25,000 square foot multi-purpose building, an 18,000 square foot pavilion, a 1/2-mile dirt race track and a grandstand to accommodate 3,000 people.

What’s Happening at the Fairgrounds
Celebrating 100 Years!
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Allegany County Fairgrounds opening its gates, the Cumberland Times-News and Allegany Magazine present “Fairgo Forever! 100 Years of the Allegany County Fairgrounds.” The hardcover, coffee-table book embraces the scheduled and serendipitous events that the county fairgrounds has offered over the past century. Photos taken by the Times-News, the fairgrounds staff and the community have been carefully chosen to chronicle events. Residents will have memories and photos of families included as well!
